1. Atmospheric and Vacuum Units

Have developed a data base including various crude types (Athabasca, Cold Lake, Christina Lake, Leona, Marlim etc.) validated from operating data for thermodynamics, simulation topology, cracked gas make, coking potential, and optimal HVGO/LVGO configuration.

c)      Suncor – Base plant Vacuum column debottleneck 2000,  improve yields by 15%

2. Fractionators (FCC/Coker)

Developed simulations, design basis and equipment specifications for:

a)      FCC Fractionator debottleneck – Consumer’s Coop Refinery, Sask.  2007 ongoing

b)      Bitumen Column debottleneck– Syncrude Fort McMurray, 1999, 2002

c)      Coker Fractionator debottleneck – Suncor Fort McMurray, 2003

3. C2 and C3 splitters:

5. Air Separation Units (ASU)

a)       300-600 TPD turnkey units, 2003-2005  (CO2 removal (PSA/TSA), main and booster compression, cryogenic distillation and heat recovery)

b)      3000 TPD Turnkey unit for gasification. Integrated ASU (nitrogen rejection) with gasification unit (China 2005).

6. Hydrogen Recovery Units

Designed membranes and PSA’s for BP Toledo (2004) , Marathon Robinson (2005),
